Ryan grew up in Salt Lake City. In his early 20’s Ryan lived in Taiwan and China where he studied Chinese and started a few online companies, eventually selling two of them. Much of the success of these companies was due to Ryan's foresight, ability to plan, and focus on the details.

Ryan graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S. in Finance and a Chinese minor. He holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation.

Ryan resides in Holladay, Utah with his wife, daughter, and two dogs. They enjoy many outdoor activities together, including golfing, skiing, fishing, and biking -- and their true passion, scuba diving.
