Kristen believes in personal empowerment, and that financial literacy deserves more attention in secondary education – particularly at a time when employer pensions are going away, and it’s more important than ever for people to learn how to cultivate and foster their own financial security.
Prior to joining EP Wealth, Kristen served clients for 11 years at Harris Financial Advisors, Inc. following several years at Accenture where she worked on process design.
Kristen is accredited as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a graduate of the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Computer Science. Kristen is also a member of the Financial Planning Association of Los Angeles.
In addition to tending and harvesting her patio garden with her son and husband, she enjoys cooking when there’s no time pressure, as well as camping, fishing, and exploring the world together as a family. Amateur photography – these days by smartphone – is also a hobby. Kristen’s household also includes a dog, a cat, and too many fish to count.

Give yourself grace with wherever you are right now. Listen, and when you hear yourself say, “I should...,” stop, recognize it without judgment, and say instead, “I will...,” and tell yourself when and where you are going to do it.
