Elizabeth "Betsy" Williams is a Co-Planner at our Falmouth, Maine office, where she plays a key role in client engagement and planning. Betsy is responsible for supporting the development of client financial plans, addressing complex client inquiries, and attending all client meetings to ensure seamless service and communication.
-
Prior to joining the EP Wealth Advisors family in 2024, Betsy worked in the financial planning field for more than a decade—first as a Client Care Associate, and more recently as the Director of Client Care at Gather Financial® Planning. Her responsibilities as Director included serving as the first line of contact for all new clients and facilitating a seamless transition into their ongoing experience with the firm by assisting with financial plans, co-facilitating meetings, and connecting with clients who reach out between meetings.
-
Accepting a part-time position in financial services turned out to be life-changing experience for Betsy after she saw clients’ concerns transforming to peace-of-mind and empowerment as their financial plans took shape. She quickly decided she wanted to be a bigger part of making these transformations possible. Betsy has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Syracuse University in Surface and Textile Design. She is an Investment Advisory Representative (IAR), having passed the Series 65 exam in 2018, and currently is fulfilling her education requirement in preparation for taking the CFP® exam.
-
Being outside with her husband and daughter is one of the experiences Betsy loves most, especially camping, walking in the woods and foraging for wild mushrooms together. She also keeps bees and has a love of cooking, in particular making fermented foods. Her favorite thing to do is drink coffee and paint or draw with her husband.
