Ryan approaches holistic, comprehensive financial planning with curiosity, attention to detail, authenticity, good humor, and care for his clients and their families. He strives to distill the complexities of our modern financial landscape into clear solutions, and he believes that providing sound, dependable guidance is his greatest responsibility as a Wealth Advisor.
Before joining EP Wealth, Ryan had been building experience in the financial services industry after a diverse career in non-profit management roles, leading small teams, and serving in consultative sales roles at an IT services firm and a food-tech startup. Previously, he lived and worked at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, where he cultivated deep, relational awareness, which has served him well in navigating the nuances of interpersonal communication essential to advising clients.
Ryan attended Duke University on a full athletic scholarship (football), where he lettered and received his B.A. in History with minors in Theater and Visual Arts. He subsequently attended graduate school at the University of Hawai'i on another full scholarship. Ryan’s professional education includes earning the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) credential.
In addition to spending time with his wife and daughter, Ryan loves playing, listening to, and talking about music. His other interests include traveling domestically and abroad, as well as spending time in the wilderness. Ryan also plays chess every night because it fascinates him.
