Carrie loves working directly with clients to help them craft personalized financial plans aligned with their goals.
Prior to her career in finance, she taught high school science and worked at a local zoo in Tampa. Although she always thought she would return to education, her financial career blossomed into a surprisingly rich experience that allows her to marry her teaching skills with her love of people and planning.
Carrie holds a bachelor’s degree in zoology and a master’s degree in education from the University of Florida. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designations.
Carrie moved from Asheville, North Carolina to Alameda in 2018 after meeting her husband – a Bay Area native – on a trip to India. When she’s not at work, Carrie enjoys reading, as well as spending time in nature with her husband and their Border Collie. She has a regular yoga and meditation practice and is a certified yoga instructor and life coach, all of which help inform her life and her work with clients.
