Ray earned a B.A. in Accounting and a B.A. in Business Management from North Carolina State University. He also holds an MBA from Wake Forest University.

Ray and his wife, Monica, celebrated 20 years of marriage in 2023, and they are proud parents of Ava and Lily. Ray and his family are parishioners at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in Brookhaven, Georgia. He is a huge fan of music and film...and he has enjoyed the rebirth of the post-Covid concert scene in Atlanta.
